First, let me apologize for the lack of images. My camera kept taking photos but it did not inform me that I was out of memory! Very disappointing because I had some great pictures.

Now, that said I will try my best with my limited writing skills to give you the low-down.

In late October Hangar 24 puts on a fantastic air show that draws thousands from around the area. Between the F-18’s, the Red Bull Stunt Helicopter Team and the perfect weather it makes for a fantastic day to be in Havasu.

I got to the air show around noon and walk up to each plane to get some pictures. Some of the planes and helicopters were open and you could sit in the cockpit and play with all the buttons! Of course the kid in me came out and proceeded to pretend I was in battle above the cities of Germany. I spent about 2 hours playing goofing around and decided it was time for a beer (of course). I forgot to mention it was also a beer festival! 

The beer festival part of the event was impressive in itself. There were 16 breweries representing their sweet nectar and tasting cups were only a buck, so I bought a few!

All in all, it was a great day and well worth the money. I will be attending next year and hope to see you there!
